John Wayne Commemorative Colt Single Action Army in 45 Colt with a 4 3/4" barrel. The pistol has a deep blue finish with many gold embellishments including John Wayne's signature on the backstrap, his portrait on the left side of the unfluted cylinder, the Duke riding a horse on the right of the cylinder, an eagle with a banner reading "John Wayne" on the left side of the barrel and a Rampant Colt and patent marking on the left frame under the cylinder. The smooth ivory grips are a two piece with slight hints of color variation. The pistol comes in a mahogany presentation case with red fitted interior. Overall this pistol appears in unused condition with the presentation box.
