For your consideration, the Colt Lawman Mk III revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The Trooper MKIII was produced from 1969 to 1983 and was the new 'J' Frame medium revolver. This line also included the Trooper, Metropolitan Police and Border Patrol models. This model is a J prefix, looks to be manufactured in 1971.
