World War II U.S. Colt Model 1911A1 Semi-Automatic Pistol in .45 ACP. The M1911A1 is an improved version of the original M1911 that entered service in 1926. The U.S. military procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols during its service life. The pistol served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. The bore condition is bright, and the finish is very good. Manufactured in 1944. It has a "G.H.D." inspected frame. It has "Not English Made" stamped above the trigger on the right side. It comes with one mag. No box.
