The Colt LE6940P Monolithic Piston Carbine is a semi-automatic, gas-piston-operated rifle chambered in 5.56mm NATO, distinguishing itself from standard AR platforms by utilizing a cleaner, cooler-running operating system. This premium carbine incorporates a 16.1-inch chrome-lined, free-floating barrel with a 1:7" right-hand twist rate and a standard A2 flash hider. It is built with a patented, one-piece monolithic upper receiver machined from a single aluminum forging that seamlessly integrates the continuous flat-top Picatinny quad-rail system, optimizing accuracy and optics repeatability.
