This 1911 National Match was manufactured in 1981. The pistols were manufactured with target competition in mind, and they feel "smoother" and more "solid" than the original 1911. The slide is more easily operated, the sights are adjustable, the grips are real walnut, and there are internal changes that help with reliability and lockup.
