This Colt New Frontier Single Action Army is chambered in .45 Colt. Firearm Class "A" pattern floral scroll engraving with around 25% coverage of the frame, cylinder, loading gate, barrel, and ejector rod housing, with the left of the front grip strap marked "-COLT ENG." Matching full "01733NF" serial numbers on the frame and both grips straps, along with matching partial serial number on the front of the cylinder. Fitted with a pair of smooth ivory grips, with gold washed Rampant Colt medallion inserts, a "Great Seal of the U.S." motif scrimshawed onto the left panel, "C-26/AJE/INDIA" marked under the right panel, and matching partial serial numbers written on the interiors in marker. Cased with "A". Condition is excellent, retaining 99% original blue finish and 98% plus vivid original case colors with limited minor handling evidence, clear markings, and crisp engraving. The grips are also excellent with some minor age lines and a crisp attractive scrimshaw. Mechanically excellent. Manufactured in 1979. Pistol only; No box, no extras.
