Colt-Remington-UMC ~ 1911 ~ .45 Auto

Colt / Remington UMC Model 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol, .45 ACP This 1911 is an assembled example featuring a Colt-manufactured slide mounted on a Remington UMC frame. The slide is marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." with the Colt patent markings, while the frame is marked "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY" and bears the Remington UMC markings/serial number. Overall condition is Good, with moderate wear and handling marks throughout. The finish shows areas of thinning and surface wear consistent with age and use, along with scattered handling marks and minor finish loss. The checkered walnut-style grips show normal wear and handling, with visible wear to the checkering. Metal surfaces remain generally intact, with honest finish wear giving the pistol an appropriately aged appearance.
