Antoine Joseph Defourny Crown Grade in 28 gauge. This example has 28 ventilated rib barrels choked (top-full) and (bottom-mod) with ejectors. It also has a single trigger with a barrel selector behind the trigger and a non-automatic safety. The left side barrel is marked with Continental Arms Corp. New York address with a matted top rib and an ivory front and mid-bead, the breeches showing oak leaf engraving on barrels and bolster. The scalloped frame and trigger guard are a silvery-gray with oak leaf and foliate engraving bordering game scenes of birds and gun dogs left and right, with waterfowl on the belly, the trigger guard shows a crowing auerhahn on a limb. The stock set is a three-piece checkered European walnut with a lightly engraved steel pistol grip cap, straight comb, unmarked monogram plate along towline with a brown covered recoil pad. Stock measurements (DC - 1 1/2" and (DH - 2") with about 1/4" cast for a right-hand person. Overall this gun remains in excellent condition with a little light wear. Gun only.
