Description
The Crimson Trace LG-401 is a front-activation laser sight built into replacement grip panels for the 1911 Government and Commander pistols. It projects a 5 mW red laser beam that turns on when the shooter takes a firing grip, so the aiming point appears without a separate switch or hand movement.
The grip panels are made of black polymer with a matte finish and weigh about 1 oz. They are a full-size frame design with a grip replacement mount, and the laser can be adjusted for windage and elevation. The unit is factory-sighted to approximate point of impact at 50 feet and includes a master on/off switch.
The panels fit 1911 Government and Commander frames and install by replacing the original grips, with no modification to the firearm required.
