Crimson Trace LaserGuard for S&W M&P Shield Red Laser Sight

The Crimson Trace LG-489 LaserGuard is a trigger guard-mounted red laser sight designed for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and M&P Shield 2.0 concealed carry pistols in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W. It is intended to give the shooter a visible aiming point for close-range defensive use.

The unit has a black polymer housing with a rubber overmold activation pad on the front of the trigger guard. Activation is pressure-based, so the laser turns on when the pistol is held in a natural firing grip. It is factory sighted at 50 and offers user-adjustable windage and elevation. The dot measures approximately 0.50 at 50, and the laser runs on one 1/3N lithium or two 357 silver oxide batteries for over four hours.

The LG-489 is user installed and requires no gunsmithing, using a wrench included with the unit.
