Designed between the master gunsmiths of Dan Wesson and CZ USA, the DWX combines all the best features from 1911s and CZs poplar pistols. This is evident in the angles and contours of the grip, which greatly resemble those of a CZ75. The optimized geometry of the grip delivers excellent comfort and ergonomics, perfectly filling the shooter's hand and reducing recoil. The CZ75 grip profile also allows any CZ75-pattern grips to be used. Another feature borrowed from CZ handguns is the locked breech barrel system reminiscent of the CZ P-09 and P-07.
