Description
While the differences between it and the PM-45 are few, they are enough that the PM-45 is deemed an entirely different gun and can not be sold in the state of California. Not safe enough, or something along those lines. With legacy features, the PM7-45 is as the Pointman was first configured many years ago with an adjustable rear target sight, blacked-out front sight and forward serrations. A smooth front strap, 25-LPI rear strap and double-diamond Cocobolo grips secure the pistol in the hand, and flats are brushed and rounds are bead-blasted. SKU 01900, the PM-7 in .45, differs from the rest of the Pointman series in that it lacks the clark-style rib, fiber optic front sight and front-strap checkering.Features:Adjustable rear sights - great at the range, this adjustable rear sight has a serrated rear face, knocking down glare and giving a crisp sight pictureFront serrations - forward cocking serrations give solid purchase for press-checksLong K-style trigger - the long K-style trigger is a twist on the standard three hole trigger that looks like a 'K'Mainspring housing checkering - our 25 LPI checkering on the flat mainspring housing provides the means for a superb gripSerrated front sight - the sharp serrations on the back of this sight destroy glare, giving a crisp sight picture no matter what angle the ambient lighting is coming fromSmooth frontstrap - sometimes less is more, the lack of checkering on this frontstrap highlights the smooth stainless frameSquare butt profile - the standard square butt profile for those who prefer a traditional lookTactical hammer - the skeletonized hammer helps to reduce weight and maintains the clean look of the pistolTraditional cut - the traditional cut keeps the lines of the traditional 1911 slide with a dustcover swoop
