Description
The Daniel Defense Government Carbine Stripped barrel is a 12.5-inch AR-15 replacement barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is built for builders and gunsmiths who want a mil-spec style barrel for an AR-15 carbine or pistol-length project.
The barrel is made from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel and cold hammer forged around a mandrel to form the chamber, lands, and grooves. Each barrel undergoes Magnetic Particle Inspection. It has a Government profile, a chrome-lined chamber and bore, a heavy phosphate finish, and a 1:7 inch rifling twist.
The barrel is stripped and fits mil-spec AR-15 platforms. It comes with an A4 barrel extension with extended M4 feed ramps and a pre-installed locator pin.
