The Daniel Defense RIS III 13-inch FSP is a free-floating handguard for MIL-SPEC AR-15 upper receivers. It is built from aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized black finish for corrosion resistance.
The handguard has a continuous 1913 Picatinny top rail for optic and BUIS mounting, and M-LOK attachment slots along the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for accessories. Integrated quick-detach sling swivel sockets are included. Its free-floating design keeps external pressure off the barrel. The rail is listed at 1.02 lbs and 13 inches overall length.
It suits suppressor-ready builds, precision rifles, and high-duty rifles that need a rigid, lightweight rail.
