DPMS Kitty Kat Complete Upper Features The DPMS Panther Arms Kitty Kat pairs a 7.5 inch chrome moly vanadium steel barrel with a 1 in 7 inch twist rate a fast twist suited to stabilizing heavier 5.56 NATO projectiles out of a short barrel. The nitrided finish on the barrel resists corrosion and heat better than a standard phosphate coating holding up through repeated strings of fire from this pistol length gas system. A 4 rail knurled free float handguard surrounds the barrel without contacting it improving accuracy by keeping outside pressure off the barrel itself. An R marked front sight gas block and A2 flash hider round out the muzzle end giving the upper usable iron sight capability right out of the box. The C7 upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and machined to mil spec tolerances before being hard coat anodized in black for long term wear resistance.
