In traditional designs, the extractor hook can become dulled over time as it repeatedly strikes the ammunition casing, leading to a loss of tension and potential jamming, which can compromise accuracy. Our innovative solution addresses these issues by reducing the distance from the bolt face to the extractor hook, thereby minimizing wear and maintaining optimal performance. Unlike conventional extractors, which often feature hooks cut at a right angle, our design incorporates an acute angle, providing a larger surface area for a more secure grip on the casing. This design choice, combined with the addition of radii on both sides of the hook, significantly enhances the strength and durability of the extractor. The hook is precisely machined using a specialized cutter that creates a smooth, clean radius in the inside corner, a common failure point in other extractors. Furthermore, our extractor undergoes a vacuum heat treatment process, endowing it with exceptional spring properties and the ability to maintain tension for over 70,000 rounds.
