EGW RMR Sight Mount for Smith & Wesson K/L/N/X Frame

EGW Guns RMR Sight Mount Features This EGW Guns RMR sight mount is built to replace the factory rear sight on Smith and Wesson K L N and X frame revolvers giving shooters a Picatinny rail interface sized for a Trijicon RMR or Holosun HS507C red dot. Constructed from 7075 aluminum with a matte black hardcoat coating it measures 1.780 inches long and 1.1 inches wide keeping the mount low profile on the revolver s topstrap. Installation involves removing the rear sight seating the mount in the dovetail and tightening the provided set screw all without permanent modification to the gun. Two 6-32 flat head screws and a 6-32 by 3/16 set screw are included to complete the swap. EGW recommends applying blue Loctite to the mounting screws and torquing them to 15 in/lbs using a 5/64 inch allen wrench for a secure repeatable zero. The mount also fits the Baby Desert Eagle produced after 2006 and the EAA Witness Elite Match extending its usefulness beyond Smith and Wesson revolvers alone though it is not compatible with Rock Island 1911 pistols. Because the change is fully reversible shooters can return to iron sights whenever they want without any lasting alteration. For revolver owners chasing faster sight acquisition with a proven red dot footprint this mount is a direct no-gunsmithing solution.
