It is used for Jungle Warfare, camping, hiking, fishing or any other outdoor and indoor activities. A great knife that puts the user at an advantage for its maximum chopping and slashing power. Its a smaller version and is compact and easy to handle.
High Quality Blade – The blade is 6 inches made from high grade carbon steel forged hand beaten meticulously for hours until the kukri comes into shape. Handmade by Nepalese Blacksmith, the blade is wide and forward bent and the sharpness and the effectiveness is impeccable. The spine is flat and gives a good support for the thumb. The double fuller blade produces immense force for a deeper cut and also maintains balance.
Handle is Ergonomic – Wave designed 5'' handle ensures maximum grips between the fingers completely locking them. The single arm or a Quilon at the bolster prevents hand from slipping forward for safety of hands. And a flared base prevents the weapon from swaying away from hand while thrashing. The pommel with butt cap and lanyard hole punched in the handle for wrist loop for ease. 2 piece rosewood is glued together to form the handle and triple riveted for strength and durability.
Handmade Strong Scabbard – The scabbard is strongly made of cotton wood wrapped in White Leather Sheath with white leather Frog. The frog is detachable with a wide belt loop. The black lace-up in front that allows tightening or loosening the scabbard. It has a loop tip for hanging.
Karda and Chakmak - The 2 utility knives ''Karda'' (utility for cutting) and ''Chakmak'' (sharpener and flint) comes along with the mother knife. These are very handy tools. Karda can be used for skinning small animals, cutting fruits and other small chores. Chakmak is a blade sharpener and works as a flint to spark fire outdoors.
Take Care Apply lubricants on the blade once a month or after every use to and avoid rust. It is important to remove any moist, water or fingerprints on the blades. Always polish the leather scabbard with matching shoe polish to retain the original color and texture. Clean the handles with furniture wax. If the khukri is to be kept out of action, always oil the blades heavily and wrap it in plastic. Store the kukri in dry normal temperature.
