Description
The Faxon Duty Series Gunner is a 16-inch AR-15 barrel chambered in 300 Blackout, machined from 4150 steel and finished with a QPQ nitride coating for surface durability. It is built for shooters who want a lighter barrel that still handles extended use, including suppressed shooting.
The barrel uses a 1:8 twist rate and is button rifled. The Gunner profile blends the durability of a government profile with the weight savings of a pencil profile, which keeps the balance closer to the shooter. Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected and air-gauge tested for accuracy. It includes an M4 barrel extension and an 11-degree target crown.
The barrel fits AR-15 platform rifles and is listed in black.
