Description
The Faxon Duty Series Gunner is a 13.9-inch AR-15 barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, built on a Gunner profile that blends the durability of a government profile with the lighter weight of a pencil profile. It is intended for shooters who want a lighter-handling rifle that remains durable for long-term use.
The barrel is machined from 4150 CMV steel and finished in black nitride. It is button rifled with a 1:8 twist and has an 11-degree target crown. Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected and air-gauge tested.
The barrel fits AR-15 rifles using a mid-length gas system and includes an M4-style barrel extension.
