Description
The Faxon Duty Series Gunner is a 12.5-inch mid-length AR-15 barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is made from 4150 steel, machined in-house, and finished with a QPQ black nitride coating for wear resistance. The barrel uses a 1:8 twist rate and a Gunner profile that blends the Government and Pencil contours, aiming to reduce weight while keeping durability and allowing use with a suppressor over long periods.
Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected for surface and subsurface defects and air-gauge tested for accuracy. Listed features include an M4 barrel extension and an 11-degree target crown.
