Description
The Faxon Duty Series Gunner is a 20-inch AR-15 barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is made from 4150 steel with a black QPQ nitride finish and a 1:8 twist rate. The Gunner profile blends the durability of a government profile with the lighter weight of a pencil profile, which keeps balance closer to the shooter's body for extended shooting sessions. The barrel is button rifled and magnetic particle inspected, and it is intended for owners who want reduced weight while still supporting long-term suppressor use.
The barrel fits AR-15 and M16 platforms.
