Faxon Firearms is proud to partner with Q on the development of barrels for their revolutionary round, the 8.6 Blackout (8.6 BLK). With barrels employing an impressive 1:3 twist rate, 8.6 BLK channels rotational energy to increase energy on-target. The Faxon Duty Series Gunner Barrel is manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave. The barrel is machined from certified 4150 GBQ steel with QPQ nitride coating for added durability and longevity. Each barrel is magnetic particle inspected (MPI) to ensure perfect surfaces and sub-surfaces as well as air-gauge tested to ensure superior accuracy. The Faxon Big Gunner is button rifled and features a medium-taper behind the gas block. The Duty Series Big Gunner barrels are ideal for use in competition, law enforcement, and military applications.
