Faxon Low Profile Gas Block .750" 3-Screw Matte Black 4150 Steel

The Faxon Low Profile Ultra Low Contour gas block is a gas system part for AR-15 and LR-308 style rifles. It mounts to the barrel to tap propellant gas that cycles the action, and its low profile is designed to sit beneath a free-float rail system.

This block is machined from 4150 steel with a matte black finish that matches Faxon barrels. It is drilled through the middle of the profile to reduce weight in lightweight builds. It clamps to the barrel with three Allen-head screws on the underside, and Faxon recommends a thread-locking compound on those screws. Because the block heats up during firing, choose a compound rated for your intended use.

It fits barrels with a standard .750-inch diameter gas journal, including Faxon barrels and many other makes. It is listed for 223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO and 308 Winchester chamberings.
