Federal Terminal Ascent 357 Mag 157 Grain JHP Nickel-Plated 20 Rounds

Federal Terminal Ascent Features The Federal Terminal Ascent load pairs a 157 grain bonded bullet with an elastomer-filled hollow point nose cavity chambered in .357 Mag. The robust bonding locks the jacket to the lead core increasing weight retention and ensuring the bullet holds together through heavy bone and tissue. That elastomer-filled cavity initiates expansion reliably at both close and extended ranges which widens the effective window for ethical shot placement on game. Federal engineered this load specifically to close the gap between standard expanding bullets and dedicated long-range hunting projectiles in handgun calibers. The nickel-plated case and bullet jacket resist corrosion keeping ammunition reliable even after time spent in a pack or holster exposed to moisture. A sealed primer further protects against the elements ensuring ignition when the shot finally presents itself. At a muzzle velocity near 1410 feet per second this load delivers meaningful downrange energy for a handgun cartridge. Hunters carrying a .357 Mag revolver into the field gain a load built around accuracy penetration and controlled expansion in one dependable package.
