Description
The Federal Top Gun is a 12 gauge target shotshell loaded with 1-1/8 ounce of #8 shot, designed for clay target shooting. Each round is built in a 2-3/4 inch chamber length and uses a paper wad, which Federal describes as an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic components. The 8 segment crimp is intended to hold the wad and shot together through the shooting process.
The load uses a clean burning powder that Federal states is meant to deliver consistent velocity from shot to shot. Rated muzzle velocity is 1200 feet per second. This ammunition is supplied in boxes of 25 rounds, with 10 boxes per case.
