Description
The Fortis Manufacturing Billet Dust Cover is an aftermarket ejection port cover for AR-15 upper receivers, intended for .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO builds. It replaces the standard polymer dust cover and is machined from a solid piece of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum rather than molded plastic.
The cover weighs 0.4 ounces and measures 3.13 inches in length and 0.885 inches in width. It carries a Type III hardcoat anodize finish in gold. The part is designed to fit mil-spec AR-15 ejection ports and is supplied with a spring and C-clip for installation.
