A standout feature of the EPC is the inclusion of two strategically placed "tabs" flanking the cutout for the port cover spring. These tabs allow the EPC to rest at a greater angle when open, creating more space between the port cover and the lower receiver. Additionally, the EPC features a shallow circular depression on its side, providing tactile feedback to the user's finger during operation.
