Franklin Armory F17-L R2 17 WSM 20" Upper Kit With 20-Round Magazine

Franklin Armory F17-L Complete Upper Features The Franklin Armory F17-L Complete Upper is built around the Osprey Defense slim piston gas system which eliminates the fouling and carrier tilt common to direct impingement guns while automatically compensating for suppressor use without the shooter touching a single setting. A low profile gas block keeps the handguard slim and snag free and the proprietary F17 bolt carrier is matched specifically to the .17 WSM cartridge for reliable cycling. The 20 inch barrel carries a 1 in 9 inch twist rate suited to stabilizing .17 WSM projectiles at speed and it is threaded 1/2x28 so it accepts common muzzle devices and suppressors right out of the box. An Aura muzzle device ships installed on the barrel rounding out a gas system built for flat clean shooting at small targets. The 15 inch proprietary handguard is M-LOK compatible giving shooters room to add lights bipods and other accessories wherever they are needed on the rail. An integrated barrier stop and indexing point built into the handguard helps shooters stabilize the rifle against cover or a barricade during field use. The upper ships optics ready so it drops straight onto a flat-top Mil-Spec AR-15 lower with a red dot or scope already in mind. Complete with its own 20 round magazine this F17-L upper gives varmint and pest control shooters a turnkey way to add a dedicated .17 WSM capability to an existing AR platform.
