The Geissele suppressor alignment gage (SAG) is a precision instrument designed to verify the alignment of a suppressor with the bore of a firearm barrel. It is crucial to recognize that the suppressor's length typically exceeds that of the barrel, muzzle device and suppressor interface geometry. A minor deviation at the mounting interface can result in a significantly larger deviation at the suppressor's exit hole. These deviations can accumulate, exacerbating suppressor misalignment. The Geissele SAG is constructed from hardened steel, ground to 0.002 inches below the nominal bore diameter. Its outer diameter is meticulously finished and maintains straightness to within 0.001 inches along its length.
