Description
The Gemtech Quickmount Flash Hider is a black steel muzzle device for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. It is designed to attach to Gemtech suppressors through a Quickmount interface, and its flash-hider design is intended to reduce carbon build-up in the suppressor and keep it from getting stuck.
The device uses a 1/2-28 tpi thread pitch and measures 2.4 inches overall. It is finished in black. Compatible Gemtech 5.56mm suppressors include the M4-96D, G5, G5-T, Shield, HVT-QM, Quicksand, and One.
Note that the Quickmount design is listed for 5.56mm suppressors in this product, while the retailer also notes a separate 7.62mm Quickmount model fits TPR-S, HVT-QM, Quicksand, and One suppressors.
