Description
The HUXWRX QD 556 is a black flash hider for AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. It is designed to reduce muzzle flash when the rifle is fired without a suppressor attached.
The device uses a quick disconnect mount and a 1/2"-28 thread pitch, and it has an overall length of 2.3 inches. On barrels with 0.6-inch threads, it adds 1.7 inches to the barrel length. It is compatible with HX-QD and FLOW suppressors. With the HUX HUB adapter, it can also be used with VENTUM series suppressors.
Mounts in a larger caliber are not compatible with smaller caliber suppressors, while smaller caliber mounts are compatible with larger caliber suppressors.
