Description
The HUXWRX QD Muzzle Brake is a black AR-15 muzzle device designed to reduce recoil when the rifle is unsuppressed. It uses a quick-disconnect mount, allowing it to be removed and reinstalled without tools or re-indexing when a suppressor is attached.
The brake has a 1/2x28 thread pitch and an overall length of 2.3 inches, adding about 1.7 inches to the barrel. It is chambered for use with 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington ammunition.
The muzzle brake is intended for use with HuxWrx and OSS suppressors and 1/2x28 threaded barrels. Per the manufacturer, larger-caliber mounts are not compatible with smaller-caliber suppressors, while smaller-caliber mounts are compatible with larger-caliber suppressors.
