Description
The HUXWRX QD Flash Hider is a black 5.56mm muzzle device for AR-15 platform rifles, designed to reduce muzzle flash when the rifle is fired without a suppressor. It uses a quick-detach (QD) mount with 1/2-28 threads.
The device has an overall length of 13.7 inches. Its muzzle device length is 2.3 inches, and it adds 1.7 inches to the barrel on barrels with 0.6-inch threads. It is chambered for 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO.
It is compatible with HX-QD and FLOW series suppressors. With the HUX HUB Adapter, it can also be used with VENTUM series suppressors. Larger-caliber mounts are not compatible with smaller-caliber suppressors, but smaller-caliber mounts work with larger-caliber suppressors.
