Description
The HUXWRX QD Flash Hider is a quick-disconnect muzzle device in black, designed to mitigate muzzle flash when the rifle is unsuppressed. It is chambered for 5.56mm, the 223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO cartridges.
The device has an overall length of 2.3 inches and uses a 1.5mm thread pitch with a right-hand M24x1.5 thread. Per the retailer text, it adds 1.7 inches to the barrel length on barrels with 0.6-inch threads.
The flash hider attaches to the HX-QD series and FLOW series suppressors. With the HUX HUB Adapter, it is also compatible with VENTUM series suppressors. Larger caliber mounts are not compatible with smaller caliber suppressors, while smaller caliber mounts can be used with larger caliber suppressors.
