The HUXWRX QD Flash Hider is a black AR-15 muzzle device with a quick disconnect mount, designed to reduce muzzle flash when the rifle is run unsuppressed. It attaches to the barrel with 5/8-24 threads and is intended for use with compatible HUXWRX suppressors.
The device measures 2.3 inches overall, and the length it adds to the barrel is 1.7 inches on barrels with 0.6-inch threads. It is built for 6mm mounts, which pairs it with the HX-QD and FLOW series suppressors. With the HUX HUB Adapter, it can also be used with VENTUM series suppressors.
Compatibility is one-directional: larger caliber mounts do not fit smaller caliber suppressors, while smaller caliber mounts can be used with larger caliber suppressors.
