Description
The GG&G Side Saddle Shell Holder is a 6-round shotshell carrier for the Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun, designed to mount to the side of the receiver for quick access to spare rounds. The holder is machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum and finished in black Type III hard anodizing, with lightening cuts that reduce weight.
The retention system uses a replaceable shell carrier that holds shotshells in either the base-up or base-down position. A non-marring backing plate protects the receiver finish. Mounting uses steel trigger pin replacement bolts, which are included. The edges are rounded for handling safety.
The holder fits the Remington 870, 1100 and 11-87 platforms and is supplied with the mounting hardware.
