That said, the trigger pull is identical to prior models. In addition to the major improvements, the G19 Gen6 also sports a number of smaller enhancements that shooters have been asking for. The slide serrations are angled deeper into the frame for easier grip, an enlarged slide stop border prevents accidental activation, and a larger beavertail provides a higher hand position. Of course, your older 9mm double-stack magazines will still function in the Gen6, but it should be noted that older barrels are not compatible with this model.
