What an amazing find and an incredible deal on a Glock pistol. Perfect as a secondary Glock or a Truck or Utility pistol. Glock 17 Gen 2 Used G/VG Condition with chipped lower grip. This particular group of trade-in models is overall NRA Surplus Good to Very Good Condition, but most will have some chipping at the bottom of the grip/magwell. More About The Grip Damage - We don\'t know the story behind them but all of these will have some level of chipping primarily in the front lower portion of the polymer grip where the mag inserts into the pistol. The Gen 2\'s were prone to this over time due to the thin spot there created by the forward magwell flare. That portion of the grip was thickened later with the advent of the Gen 3. The polymer damage does not extend as high as the stippling on the grip and the mags still lock in solidly and the firearms funtion perfectly. Several staff members have actually purchased these and smoothed out the damaged area with a Dremel tool which seems to have worked well if so desired but again they still function flawlessly As-Is. Individual pistols may also have cosmetic holster wear on the slide, but it will reflect holster carry at most and the barrels and mechanical parts are all in excellent condition. Gen 2 pistols were known for their smooth triggers, and these are no exception. Many have night sights, but we make no guarantees there nor do we guarantee for any remaining life in the night sights should you get a pistol with them.
