Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition 1911 Commander Bronze/Black .45 ACP 4.25 Barrel 8-Rounds OR

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition 1911 Commander Features The Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition 1911 Commander is built on a steel frame and 416 stainless steel slide giving the pistol the weight and durability that 1911 shooters expect while keeping felt recoil manageable in .45 ACP. The RMSc optic cut on the slide accepts a micro red dot directly for faster target acquisition at speed and the ported slide bleeds gas to reduce muzzle flip across strings of fire. A skeletonized hammer and adjustable trigger let the shooter tune trigger feel to their preference while the beavertail grip safety protects the hand from slide bite during rapid presentations from a holster. The Picatinny frame rail adds mounting space for a weapon light rounding out a pistol built for serious range and defensive use. The two-tone finish pairs a bronze Cerakote frame with a black Cerakote 416 stainless slide giving the pistol a striking appearance that also resists corrosion and wear from repeated holster use. An extended ambidextrous safety makes the manual of arms usable for right- and left-handed shooters without retraining muscle memory and fiber optic sights provide a bright fast sight picture in a variety of lighting conditions. Aluminum grips add both a distinctive look and secure purchase under recoil and the pistol ships complete with two magazines for immediate range use. Built in the USA the Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition 1911 Commander delivers a fully featured optics-ready 1911 platform for shooters who want more than a stock gun straight out of the box.
