Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition 1911 Government Bronze / Black .45 ACP 5 Barrel 8-Rounds OR

Great Lakes Firearms & Ammo 1911 Government Features The Great Lakes Firearms & Ammo 1911 Government pairs a stainless steel 416 slide finished in black Cerakote with a stainless steel frame finished in bronze Cerakote for a striking two-tone look with real corrosion resistance. The slide is ported and cut for an RMSc optic footprint letting the shooter add a compact red dot without gunsmithing and a Picatinny frame rail up front accepts a light or laser for low-light use. An adjustable trigger provides a clean tunable break while the skeletonized hammer trims reciprocating mass for a faster smoother cycle. The beavertail grip safety protects the web of the hand from slide bite during rapid strings of fire. Fiber optic front and rear sights give a fast high-visibility sight picture for both target work and defensive use and the ambidextrous safety makes the pistol equally comfortable for left- and right-handed shooters. Two magazines ship with the pistol giving the owner a spare on hand from day one. At 42 ounces the steel-framed 1911 carries the weight that helps tame recoil in .45 ACP for faster more controllable follow-up shots.
