Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Mission Deer Camp Camo 223 Wylde 16" 30-Round AR-15 Rifle

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Mission Deer Camp Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Mission pairs a 7075 billet lower receiver finished in Deer Camp Camo Cerakote with a 16 inch chrome moly vanadium barrel treated with a black nitride finish for added corrosion resistance. The 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a broad range of .223 Wylde bullet weights and the .223 Wylde chamber allows the rifle to safely fire both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition. A threaded muzzle with a 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts the factory installed muzzle brake helping manage recoil and muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire. The direct impingement operating system delivers consistent reliable cycling in this configuration. A 15.125 inch M-LOK handguard gives hunters and shooters plenty of room to add lights slings or bipods while the full length Picatinny rail on the upper receiver accepts a red dot or magnified optic. The adjustable stock and Mil-Spec pistol grip keep the controls familiar for AR-15 shooters and the Mil-Spec trigger breaks at a consistent 5.5 to 6 pounds. A selector switch safety rounds out the intuitive fire control layout. Weighing 6.8 pounds and shipping with a 30 round AR-15 magazine the GL15 Mission Deer Camp Camo pairs a distinctive hunting camo pattern with the dependable performance of the AR-15 platform.
