Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Mission Urban 223 Wylde 16" 30-Round Rifle

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Mission Urban Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Mission is built on a 7075 billet lower receiver finished in Urban Camo Cerakote giving the rifle a distinctive look suited to a wide range of environments. A 416R stainless steel barrel measures 16 inches with a 1:8 twist rate stabilizing a broad range of .223 Wylde bullet weights while the stainless construction adds corrosion resistance over standard steel. A threaded muzzle with a 1/2x28 thread pattern accepts a factory installed muzzle brake helping tame recoil and muzzle rise across rapid strings of fire. Because the chamber is cut to .223 Wylde specifications the rifle safely runs both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition without sacrificing accuracy. A 15.125 inch M-LOK handguard offers generous real estate for mounting lights foregrips or bipods to suit the shooter s needs. The adjustable stock and Mil-Spec pistol grip keep controls familiar for anyone experienced with the AR-15 platform while the full length Picatinny rail on the upper receiver supports a red dot or magnified optic. A selector switch safety and Mil-Spec trigger round out the fire control components for predictable repeatable operation. Weighing 6.8 pounds and shipping with a 30 round AR-15 magazine the GL15 Mission Urban Camo blends distinctive styling with reliable semi automatic performance for range hunting or defensive use.
