Great Lakes Firearms SUB-1 Green .308 Win 18" Fluted Threaded Barrel 5-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition SUB-1 Features The Great Lakes Firearms SUB-1 pairs a Remington 700 pattern stainless action with a 416R stainless steel barrel that is double stress relieved and button rifled for match grade consistency. The 18 inch fluted barrel sheds weight and improves cooling during extended strings of fire while the 1:10 twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .308 Win bullet weights. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a brake or suppressor giving shooters the flexibility to manage recoil or reduce signature depending on the application. The jeweled bolt is both a functional and visual hallmark of a rifle built with precision shooting in mind and it cycles smoothly thanks to the tight tolerances of the Rem 700 pattern action. An adjustable trigger lets shooters dial in the pull weight for a crisp repeatable break which pays off directly in on-target accuracy at distance. The rifle feeds from a detachable AICS pattern magazine and this .308 Win configuration ships with one 5-round magazine for reliable feeding in the field or on the line. The long strand carbon fiber stock is both lightweight and rigid holding zero better than traditional composite stocks while cutting overall carry weight for hunters covering ground. Finished in Lichen Green Cerakote over the stainless metalwork with a built-in ARCA rail for tripod mounting the SUB-1 is finished for shooters who want a rifle that performs as well from a bipod in the field as it does from a bench.
