Description

The Griffin Armament CAM-LOK Universal barrel adapter is one half of a two-part piston system for suppressing 9mm Luger pistols. It is designed for Browning-style tilt barrel pistols and provides the interface that connects a suppressor to the host firearm. The adapter is sold separately from the piston, which is required to complete the system.

The adapter uses a 1/2-28 thread pitch and a CAM-LOK locking interface, which allows the suppressor to be attached with a rapid, secure mount rather than hand-tightened threads. Its stated purpose is to reduce loosening that can occur on direct-thread single-piece pistons as the slide cycles during firing.
