Description
The Griffin Armament CAM-LOK Universal Barrel Adapter is one half of a two-part CAM-LOK piston system for suppressors. It is sold on its own and is designed for Browning-style tilt barrel pistols chambered in 45 ACP. The adapter threads onto the suppressor side of the system, while the separate piston is the component that attaches to the host pistol.
The adapter uses a .578x28 thread pitch and mounts through the CAM-LOK interface, which is intended to replace direct-thread single-piece pistons. According to the product description, the CAM-LOK design can be tightened with tools and holds more securely under slide cycling than hand-tightened direct-thread pistons, which can loosen during firing.
