Guntec USA Ultra Light Handguard 12" Free Float M-LOK AR-15 Black

GunTec Ultra Light Handguard Features The GunTec Ultra Light Handguard is machined from T6 aluminum and designed to slide over its included proprietary barrel nut then lock up tight against the receiver with six screws. This tight fit creates a monolithic top rail that runs continuously from the receiver through the handguard giving optics a stable uninterrupted mounting surface. The M-LOK slot system along the sides and bottom allows shooters to attach lights grips bipods and other accessories exactly where they need them without extra adapters. At 12 inches this handguard suits rifle length gas systems and gives ample real estate for accessory placement. Built as an ultralight free floating design the handguard keeps added weight to a minimum while still providing the rigidity needed for a true free float barrel which can improve accuracy by eliminating contact-induced barrel harmonics. The matte black finish matches most mil-spec AR-15 finishes for a clean cohesive build appearance. Because the barrel nut is proprietary and included with the handguard installation is straightforward without needing to source a separate nut. This combination of light weight rigidity and a true monolithic rail makes it a strong option for precision-minded AR-15 builders.
