Description
The Harris S-LM is a bipod for bolt action rifles that clamps to the sling swivel stud, letting the shooter steady the rifle for prone shooting or benchrest work. It is designed for quick deployment and quick detachment from a conventional stock.
The legs extend from 9 to 13 inches and are notched in 1-inch increments for repeatable height settings. Spring-loaded legs speed up deployment, and the legs swivel to compensate for uneven ground. The hinged base has tension adjustment to reduce looseness at the crotch of the bipod. The aluminum and steel body has a black anodized finish and weighs about 14 ounces.
The bipod includes a built-in sling swivel stud so a sling can still be used while it is attached. It is intended for bolt action rifles with a sling swivel stud and conventional stock design.
