Description
The Harris 1A2-L2 is a non-swivel bipod designed to support a rifle for prone shooting, benchrest work and other stable positions. It attaches to the sling swivel stud of a rifle and can be quickly detached when not needed. Its legs extend from 9 to 13 inches and are spring loaded for quick deployment, with self-leveling legs to help the rifle sit steady on uneven ground.
The bipod is built from steel and aluminum and finished in black anodizing for weather resistance. It weighs 12.5 ounces. The hinged bases carry tension adjustment to reduce looseness in the crotch area of the bipod. Because it mounts to the stud rather than the forend, a sling or off-hand carry is not impeded. It is intended for rifles with a conventional stock design.
