Henry Single Shot 12 Gauge 28" Blued Steel Walnut Field Shotgun

The Henry Single Shot Steel is a break-top, single-shot 12 gauge shotgun for field use, built on the same action as Henry's single-shot rifle. It uses a rebounding external hammer and a dual-direction pivoting locking lever, and the interlock system prevents opening or closing the action with the hammer cocked. It has no manual safety.

The shotgun has a 28-inch blued steel barrel with a brass bead front sight and a walnut stock. It weighs 6.65 pounds and measures 43.5 inches overall. It accepts 12 gauge 3.5-inch shells and holds one round at a time. Shells are fully ejected when the action is opened for quick follow-up shots.

The gun is right-hand configured and is offered in steel-framed form with a solid black rubber recoil pad.
